Californians across party lines overwhelmingly support the Medi-Cal program, including 80% of Democrats, 75%, of Independents, and 62% of Republicans, according to a recent CHCF poll.
Over half of Californians say the program is “personally important” to them, with a majority of residents across political affiliations saying they have either received Medi-Cal benefits themselves or have family members who have.
